We maintain the integrity of your donations by using the remote id, first name, and last name to ensure donations are assigned to the correct donor. If you have anonymous donors or new profiles, you can import those into your Planning Center database as well.
Anonymous Donors #
If the first or last name is Anonymous, the PCOMVP app will import the donation with the anonymous designation.
New Profiles #
When you import donations, you may have donors who do not already exist in your database. You can either create them as new profiles or ignore them. If you ignore them, their donations will be imported as Anonymous.
If you want to create new files, go to the settings gear, and toggle the Create New People button on.
