Before you begin your import, you need to ensure that you’ve imported your people into planning center. Our tool, matches donations from your old system, to donors in your new system using the remote_id, email, and phone number fields. We do have an option to create donors on the fly, but we don’t recommend enabling that option unless you’ve already imported people. For more information on importing people into Planning Center, review the information discussed in this article.
