If your exported file has anonymous donations, you’ll just want to ensure either the first or last name field columns contain “anonymous”. If the entire cell contains “anonymous” (capitalization doesn’t matter), our app will recognize it and it will get imported with the anonymous designation.
PRO TIP: Often times, church’s will create some sort of fake person to handle loose cash or anonymous donations. Planning Center has a feature built exactly for this use case and I recommend using it. This means replacing the first or last name of said ‘fake person’ with the word “anonymous”.
